Crystal currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Venture Bank. Crystal has been with Venture Bank since its inception in November 2001, when the bank was formed to serve the needs of small to medium sized businesses in the Twin Cities. In her capacity as SVP of Operations she is responsible for the daily management of all of the bank’s operations including all data processing functions, item processing functions and network administration. Crystal also serves as the bank’s Compliance Officer and Information Security Officer. Crystal has almost 20 years of banking experience and prior to joining Venture Bank, she spent two years at Deloitte & Touche as a Manager in the Enterprise Risk Management division and six years with Riverside Bank in Minneapolis as the bank’s Internal Audit Officer and Credit Review Manager and later as the Vice President of Loan Operations. Crystal began her career at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a Bank Examiner in 1989 and has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas with majors in Economic and Marketing.
