While obtaining two masters degrees in Finance and MIS from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, First Scribe founder Jay Perrill was exposed to a new layer running across the internet called the “World Wide Web”.  The internet had been around for more than a decade, but this new graphical layer running on top of the internet was just being developed.  Intrigued by its promise, Jay Perrill started First Scribe in 1993, one of the first web development companies in the country!
