Jeff attended St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics. In 1980, he graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar. Jeff joined Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company LLP 1979.

Jeff is a frequent lecturer on a multitude of complex tax issues. His areas of expertise include family business consulting and succession planning; estate planning; various tax matters and tax planning for individuals, businesses, trusts, and foundations.  He is also the champion of our strategic planning initiative responsible for reviewing new products and services of interest to the Firm.

Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, the American Bar Association and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Inc. Jeff is also very active with the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce and is a past member of the TwinWest Board of Directors.  He has recently been elected to the Boards of St. John’s University Alumni and Minneapolis Golf Club.
