Currently Lee leads the retention and measurement consulting practice areas for CPI, is an active career coach and serves as President of the organization. Outside his professional life, Lee serves as an advisor to the White Bear Lake School District on bond elections and is active in his community.

Lee Skaalrud has focused on personal and organizational success factors his entire career. Starting as a University Professor, Lee then moved to publishing with Dow Jones Irwin (now McGraw-Hill) and training and development with the Wilson Learning Corporation. Lee was then recruited to Texas Instruments as Senior Manager of Succession Planning and Development. During his tenure at Texas Instruments, Lee re-shaped the succession planning process into Succession Development by integrating individual aspirations to organizational needs. Lee was then hired as the Director of Workforce Strategy for the Enterprise Division of Nortel Networks. There he managed the talent strategy for nine metropolitan areas in North America.

Lee completed his graduate studies at Minnesota State University Mankato. He is very active in the community and has served as Director for the Colleyville Texas Economic Development Corporation, Board Member for The Center for Nonprofit Management of Dallas, President of the Colleyville Lions Club and Head Coach, The Wave girl’s soccer team.
