Mary T. Rothchild is director for strategic partnerships, career and workforce development at the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system.  In this role, she coordinates the system’s programs aimed at meeting the state’s workforce development needs in critical occupations.  For the last several years, she has focused on education and training projects in health care, manufacturing and energy. Before entering higher education, Rothchild was a vice president for special loans at USBank in Minneapolis.  She also has held lending positions at several international and commercial banks in New York City.  Rothchild holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Barnard College, a master’s degree in business administration from Pace University and is currently completing her Ph.D. studies in Educational Policy and Administration at the University of Minnesota. Rothchild lives in St. Paul with her husband and three children
