In this podcast Ms Ronning tells us about the mission of Women on Boards and the important opportunity to allow future board members to hear from and network with existing board members. She tells us that these national events show future board members how to prepare themselves to become board members and teaches them about the responsibilities, duties and possible liability exposures of serving on boards can involve. These are mentoring and coaching events that help those in attendance to understand what serving on Boards of Directors is all about and to decide if that is something they want to aspire to.

In this podcast Sheila Ronning tells us how she has developed the idea of staging networking events for business people to attend to meet and get to know other business people in the Twin Cities. The entry fee to the event is a business card and if you want to you can rent a space to display your business to the visitors. She has approximately 450 people attend each of five annual events. She has also started a Leadership lunch series that is held quarterly and features a speaker to help develop the leaders of the future.
